Brutality

Welcome!

Brutality is 10-man raiding guild looking to bolster its roster. In 4.1 we were 12/12 normal modes and 5/12 heroic modes prior to a hiatus that began in early April. In wrath we were ranked in the top 5 guilds on the server, with 11/12 heroic bosses in 25 ICC on farm. Our 10-man groups were 12/12 heroic ICC. We were 4/5 in heroic TotGC 25 and 5/5 - "Tribute to Insanity" in heroic TotGC 10. Pre-wotlk we were one of the top 10 progression guilds in server ( 5/5 MH, 9/9 BT ). Yes, we've been around that long.

The majority of our members are college-aged or older. Some of us are going to school, some are married, and some have children. To accomodate demanding lives, we're looking to develop a strong raiding team on a one day a week schedule. The current raid time is Tuesday from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.

We are not a hardcore guild, and given our casual raiding schedule it's unrealistic to try and compete with neck and neck progression. This does not, however, suggest that we don't accomplish steady progression or lack skilled players. In fact you'll find that many of our players are top notch and we get things done. Our goal is to be able to enjoy all possible raid content while maintaining the integrity of our day to day lives.

We do not use a DKP system of any sort. Loot from progression raids is distributed via a loot council consisting of the guild officers. Items go to people that need and deserve them. We distribute loot with an eye towards guild progression, not towards stacking the characters of officers or favored members.

I just wanted to shout out to our whole team at Brutality for a great week of raiding.  We are currently 6/12 and have the new loot pinata down as well.  Keep up the great work and strive for next week to be closer to 12/12 and let's unlock some hard modes.
